PEBBLES IS A FINE ART AND CREATIVE CENTRE that runs a year round programme of monthly exhibitions, has permanent on-site makers and features affordable regional art. We have a real commitment to young artists and entrepreneurs, with this in mind we also run a FREE Pebbles Youth Project with its own youth gallery. Situated in Allendale town centre in the heart of the Northumberland Pennines, we are only 10 miles South of Hexham, Allendale is a warm and friendly village steeped in history, has beautiful river walks and a lively art and music scene.

Affordable Luxury

Artist led, the gallery opened in 2006 and is home to a vibrant business community who make and sell original paintings, framed and unframed prints, jewellery, pottery, unique hand blown glass, ceramics, sculpture, woodcarving, hand-made felt, silk paintings, photography, hand-dipped candles, luxury cushions, carved leather books, hand-made bags, felt hats, and cosy vintage clothes made from soft alpaca wool.
